Dangote Industries Limited is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist to support the delivery of reliable, secure, and high-performing software solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for validating software quality across web, desktop, and mobile applications by designing test strategies, identifying defects, and working closely with development and business teams.

This role is ideal for professionals with a strong understanding of software testing methodologies, automation tools, and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). A strong commitment to quality, teamwork, and continuous improvement is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, document, and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on system requirements.
• Execute functional, regression, integration, and performance testing across applications.
• Identify, log, track, and document defects using issue-tracking tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business analysts to ensure complete test coverage.
• Participate actively in Agile/Scrum activities including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Design, maintain, and execute automated test suites using tools such as Selenium, Postman, or similar frameworks.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by coordinating with end-users and collecting feedback.
• Ensure compliance with established QA standards and best practices throughout the application lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of two (2) years experience in software quality assurance or a related role.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, testing tools, and quality assurance processes.
• Hands-on experience with both manual and automated testing techniques.
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, Swagger, or SoapUI.
• Basic knowledge of SQL with the ability to validate data using queries.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team environment.
