Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic plans to improve hotel performance and guest satisfaction.
• Monitor hospitality industry trends and adopt innovative practices to remain competitive.
• Prepare, manage, and control departmental budgets.
• Analyze financial reports and implement strategies to increase revenue and reduce costs.
• Oversee smooth daily operations across all hotel departments.
• Implement and maintain quality control standards for all hotel services.
• Ensure the consistent delivery of exceptional guest experiences.
• Handle guest complaints and feedback professionally and promptly.
• Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing hotel team.
• Supervise recruitment, training, and performance management of staff.
• Collaborate with the marketing team on promotional and branding strategies.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and business partners.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Implement and maintain emergency, safety, and security procedures.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of seven (7) years experience in hotel management.
• At least three (3) years experience in a managerial role within a hotel in Port Harcourt.
• Must be a resident of Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
• Strong financial management, budgeting, and revenue optimization skills.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in hotel management software systems.
