Job Summary

The Execution Planning Advisor I - QIT leads the development of execution planning efforts, coordinating Front End Execution Planning (FEEP) activities and ensuring effective audits and project deliverables. This role acts as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in execution planning and supports project teams throughout various Gate stages.

Main Functions

  • Lead development and coordination of execution planning activities.
  • Ensure audits of contractors, suppliers, and project teams are scheduled and conducted.
  • Participate in FEEP workshops to identify execution issues at key milestones.
  • Develop mitigation plans and confirm feasibility of execution elements.
  • Monitor project status/issues and provide execution support during the Execute Stage.
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert in execution and planning processes.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate development of execution planning deliverables across Gate stages and checkpoints.
  • Design and lead FEEP Phase 1 (pre-Concept Selection) and Phase 2 (post-Concept Selection through Checkpoint 1).
  • Set up and facilitate FEEP workshops with appropriate personnel.
  • Steward work programs in FEEP charters and integrate execution bases for project deliverables.
  • Identify and resolve issues with functional and project teams.
  • Monitor quality of work products and report progress to stakeholders.
  • Advise other team members on execution planning and participate in project assessments (e.g., PEBRAs, IPRs, Concept Selection).
  • Mentor new engineers and ensure campus hires meet ECM tasks and project requirements.

Skills and Qualifications

  • BSc Degree in Engineering
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry
  • Proven experience in project management, execution positions, and capital projects
  • Experience in all phases of project execution and international assignments
  • Flexibility for international business travel as required
