Editorial: Strategic Advice for Senior Engineers

For a heavyweight role like this at Oando, the recruitment team isn't just looking for a manager they want a Technical Authority. Your ability to explain how you’ve navigated complex API and ASME standards in Port Harcourt or offshore environments will be critical. When updating your CV, highlight specific instances where your debottlenecking studies directly increased production or where your PHA leadership prevented a potential safety incident.

Given the importance of COREN registration and NSE membership, ensure these credentials are clearly listed at the top of your resume. Oando values the TRIPP culture, so demonstrating a mix of high level technical skills and the ability to mentor junior engineers will make you a standout candidate. This is your chance to lead from the front in one of Nigeria's most respected energy firms.
