Role Overview
The Account Clerk will be responsible for the day to day financial record keeping that keeps our seafood operations running smoothly. We need a candidate who is meticulous, fast with calculations, and capable of maintaining both physical and digital filing systems. You will support the broader accounts department by ensuring that every kobo is accounted for and that all reconciliations are done with 100% accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily Reconciliation: Perform thorough checks to ensure daily sales and expenditures match the actual records.
- Bookkeeping: Handle routine data entry and update the company’s financial ledgers regularly.
- A/R & A/P Support: Assist the team in managing Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable to maintain healthy cash flow.
- Filing & Documentation: Manage organized systems for all receipts, invoices, and financial reports, ensuring easy retrieval.
- Numerical Precision: Execute rapid, error-free mathematical calculations to support financial reporting and auditing.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Interested candidates should possess an OND or HND qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of active experience in an accounting or clerical role.
