Responsibilities
Your responsibilities as a Storekeeper at Eta Zuma mining is to responsible for the efficient management of the company’s store operations and also include:
- Receiving incoming materials, verify quality and quantity against delivery notes and update stock records immediately.
- Maintain accurate inventory using stock cards, bin cards, or modern inventory software to ensure transparency.
- Issue materials to various departments based strictly on authorized requests to prevent waste or unauthorized use.
- Conduct periodic physical stock counts and reconcile any discrepancies found in the records.
- Monitor stock levels and proactively report items that need replenishment to avoid operational downtime.
- Ensure proper labeling, safe storage, and easy retrieval of materials while keeping the store area clean and secure.
- Prepare and submit detailed daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports to management.
- Assist in loading/unloading goods and provide accurate documentation for internal and external audit activities.
Requirements
- Minimum of SSCE, OND, or HND in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Inventory Management, Accounting, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in storekeeping, warehousing, or inventory control is required.
- Basic knowledge of stock control procedures and the ability to use Microsoft Excel or inventory management software.
- High level of accuracy, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Integrity, reliability, and the physical ability to handle materials when necessary.
