Responsibilities
As an Account Intern, you will be an integral part of the finance team, supporting daily operations and learning the ropes of professional bookkeeping. Your duties will include:
- Assist in maintaining accurate financial records, ledgers, and journals while supporting the data entry of various financial transactions.
- Help the team organize and file critical financial documents, receipts, and invoices to ensure an audit-ready environment.
- Support the preparation of basic financial reports and summaries, and help with the reconciliation of bank statements and other accounts.
- Monitor daily income and expenses to ensure the company's financial health is accurately captured.
- Assist with periodic stock counts, inventory reconciliation, and maintaining records of company assets across the various business units.
- Provide general administrative assistance to the accounting department as needed.
