About the Position

The Public Area Attendant role is essential to maintaining the cleanliness, presentation, and overall guest experience at the hotel. The person in this position will ensure that all public areas—including lobbies, corridors, gardens, and common spaces—are immaculate, safe, and welcoming. This position requires attention to detail, reliability, and teamwork to consistently uphold the high standards for which Whitefield Hotels is known.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure all public areas of the hotel are swept, clean, and presentable at all times.
• Clean and maintain the environment, including floors, carpets, furniture, and fixtures.
• Water flowers, lawns, and carpet grass to maintain vibrant, healthy greenery.
• Trim and maintain flowers and decorative plants to enhance the aesthetic appeal of the property.
• Follow instructions and guidance provided by the team lead to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist in setting up and maintaining public areas for events or special occasions.
• Report any maintenance or safety concerns observed in public areas promptly to supervisors.
• Collaborate with other housekeeping staff to ensure consistent cleanliness and operational efficiency.
• Participate in team meetings and training to enhance service delivery and operational knowledge.
